Welcome to the Henderson Lab at Syracuse University
We are part of both the interdisciplinary Syracuse Biomaterials Institute and the Department of Biomedical and Chemical Engineering in the L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science. The lab combines experimental and computational approaches to study mechanobiology and to apply mechanobiology in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. We are motivated by the opportunity to improve treatments for individuals with injuries, such as ACL tears, or diseases, such as arthritis or cancer. Thanks to all who took part in the 39th Annual Northeast Bioengineering Conference!
